How to add XenForo user banners like this?

I know you can have the default banners built in, but I'm not sure how to style them like this.

I did take a look at that, but I'm mean how can I make them detailed like that. I probably sound like a total noob right now lol, but I can't seem to find anything really detailed out there to give me bits and pieces to put stuff like that together.
