Twitter is a great Micro Blogging website which can be used for soo many things its unbelievable. What im talking about today is how to advertise your company on it.
If your forum or new website needs more members, views then twitter is an easy way to start getting people to know about your website. You honestly dont know how many people could be viewing a certain topic that your tweeting.
Before you do anything you need to know that there are millions of twitter users. YOURS needs to be different to get the attention you need. First of all you'll need a username, hopefully your forum name is'nt taken. If it is, try adding a - or and x on the end, people will still know its you. A catchy, pronounceable name is often the best but are hard to find these days. Second getting a nice template, this attracts people to your page. Its alot more intreeging.
Once you have this setup, you are ready to start tweeting! here are 3 tips on the advertising bit:
1. Always include a link to your forum!
2. Twitter has a letter digit to your posts, try using all of it!
3. Try to make your posts filled with info!
All of these will make the quality of your posts better! Remember, Its quality not quantity if you posted 100 a day all short with no information your twitter would do NOTHING. If you posted lets say once every day, all full of information. Your twitter account will do good.
Also, I reccomend following lots of people! Adding 100 a day adds up to alot over months!
