True, but it seems impossible for a buyer to know it's a scam.

We see almost all kinds of scam in the internet. But in fairness to that site owner, he is creative enough with his scheme. Of course, it is impossible to know where the traffic came from. The numbers are enough to solicit ads. And he invests in his scheme because he pays the clickers.

How as a forum user would I be able to tell if the site owner is only maintaining his site to make it look popular enough that ad networks will pay top dollar for spots?
