How to best spend your Money?

My husband and I like to go out to eat once a month and it's not cheap where we live so that's our splurge. There are some festivals starting up again that I'd like to go to but even those can be expensive.
That sounds nice, @Lämmchen!
If I'm lucky to get money saved then I would get films or games 🙂 then again I have not brought a game full price and rather get it on sale. I just got M.2 drive not long ago and end of the day that's more for what I need more than the pleasure you know.
But saving and spending on the site takes it all away, not to mention people Birthdays and Christmas LOL

We don't do too much as it is. We usually donate some extras to an animal shelter. What's always fun is when they are in need of certain items i.e. blankets & we make challenge out of it to find some good deals. Helping them makes us feel good lol
We don't really have any extra funds because all of our income is allocated between expenses, savings, and investments. One of "savings" is for fun money which covers everything from dining out to entertainment e.g. movies, concerts, travel etc.

I put all of my loose change into a large popcorn tin. At the end of the year, I count and wrap it. One year, I had over $700. With that money, I was able to buy supplies that were on the local animal shelters "wish list" and some toys for my "zoo crew" babies too.
