How to get a digital presence in the USA?

I'm from Belgium and would like to know how to get a digital presence in the USA.

I asked this to someone else but that person hasn't replied to my question or just ignored me so I figured it is best to make a topic about it. :cheer:

In order to legally own a .us domain(s) you must meet one of the 3 requirements below:

Under .US nexus requirements .US domains may be registered only by the following qualified entities:
1. Any United States citizen or resident,
2. Any United States entity, such as organizations or corporations,
3. Any foreign entity or organization with a bona fide presence in the United States


So who knows how I can get a digital presence in the USA? Or how I can legally own .us domains.

Sure but from what I have read on the wikipedia page of .us domains they can loose such domains.

Cause if you don't meet the requirements I mentioned in my first post you own .us domains illegal!

You could get someone who is a US citizen to buy one for you, give them the money and they keep it on their registrar account and under their who is information.

I got some project ideas that have a domain name idea that is like what you say, so yeah.

You would meet the 3rd requirement so long as the domain isn't used for illegal purposes really.

I just read the newsletter of Namecheap.com and they said:

Please note that in order to buy a .us, you must have a residence or registered presence in the United States.

Do you have any friends or relatives in the US? Perhaps one of them could do it for you.

Failing that, maybe you could partner up with a US entity or individual to develop and promote the site.

I'm not from the US and don't know the precise legalities of the above, I offer them as ideas only.

2. Send cash to their PayPal
3. They buy you the domain(s)
4. Give you ownership. They'd technically be the owner, but you'd be the acting administrator / manager of the domains
