How to get a favicon from a other site like FP?

I don't want to use the favicon of FP or any other site that has its own custom favicon. I just would like to know in what way I can access the ico image? Save it to my pc?

Same for the background of a forum, how can I save that image to my pc?

I suppose you could view the page source and search the document for ".ico" for the favicon.

Use Favicon.cc (website), and download/create ICOs on the spot.

In FF you can right click and view background image, then right click and save image as to get the background.

click on the link, save the .ico or drag and drop it on the desktop.
