Sam, Namecheap specified on their site that they required a two month wait before a domain could be transferred. That requirement may have been lifted since then, but that was the original reason for the two month waiting time. However, the spirit of this offer was to provide webmasters with domains that they would develop sites on. It was not intended to provide people with domains that they could quickly sell on for a profit. That was a reason for maintaining the two month requirement.sambling said:Hey Fergal,
Why is there a two month push policy? Just curious... 🙂

It is something we will look at and perhaps change in the future.

Yes most probably. I say "most probably" because I do believe that we will still be running this offer in a year, but I can't guarantee it. Also I will only be able to renew the domain, if it is in my NameCheap account.agarwal99 said:At the end of the first year, can I pay FP4000 more for it to be registered for the next year as well?
We don't currently have any affiliations with a host to be able to offer that. It could be a possibility in the future, but only Fergal can really answer that.User500 said:Fergal, Would you consider also offering hosting plans for FP$?
It's not something I plan on doing in the near future to be honest. However, I wouldn't rule it out in the long term.User500 said:Fergal, Would you consider also offering hosting plans for FP$?
