Like they said, you can still use it just fine. This is just to prevent you from requesting a domain just to sell it.

Each member may only avail of this offer once. I would hope that after owning a domain for a year, that members would be able to figure out a way to pay for the renewal themselves. You wouldn't need to sell much advertising space to get enough money together, to pay the circa $10 to renew the domain. Renewals is something we may offer in the future, but not at this time.

We buy to domain which you can use on an existing forum. For example if you own a site currently called yayilovedogs.randomfreehost-withalongsubdomain.com and you want it to be yayilovedogs.info then we can but the yayilovedogs.info and you can use it instead of your subdomain.
If you are on a free host, it might be worth checking if you can use a domain on your forum. Some free forums host don't allow you to or charge you.

It is only for a year. After that you then need to either pay for it or let it expire if you no longer want it. We MAY be offering a service where you can pay FP cash to extend a domain you brought from us although nothing has been decided on yet regarding that and we may not offer that service.
