Is it possible to get a free domain and keep it for as long as you want?

There is not such thing as a free domain. Someone had to pay for it in the first place.

Domains will last for as long as you pay for them. The maximum is 10 years on NameCheap, and that would cost about $80 over the 10 years.

Really, there is no possible way to get a free domain at all? Damn, lol.

Well, you could look around, but eventually, it will expire. FP offers domains for 9000FP$ (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=50249) and you don't pay real money, just virtual money, but in the end, to renew it, you will have to pay for it.

Oh, well thank you very much for the help!

Domains are pretty cheap these days, so it should't be a problem anymore.
It's just hard to get a domain because they are all registered, lol

1. Acquire twenty eight real dollar bills. You can mow lawns, for example, to acquire this if you don't have an allowance. This is assuming of course you don't have a steady source of income via credit card.

2. Go to your local bank and request a 25 dollar VISA gift card. You will have to pay about 3 dollars worth of tax. It could vary based on where you live, dunno.

3. Go to http://netfirms.com/ and purchase your domain for about 10 bucks. They provide free domain privacy for .coms and .nets, so I recommend them. Also you can go to namecheap.com for 1 year free domain privacy, or godaddy, however, godaddy changes almost 10 bucks for whois privacy, which is absurd.

FYI, nothing is free. Even if you go to one of those rewards sites to get one it still isn't free. You have to work, which is the same you'd have to do if you were to wash cars or mow lawns.
