That's my site url, it is a gaming and sports site, but most of my members that sign up have 0 posts and i dont have a lot of members anyway. I provide links for people (isos and latest wwe etc), but they always come on one day take some links, but seem to forget about the site the day after.
You aren't getting much members on FP for one reason because people hate your host.
Try advertising at forumotion's support forum. If I was interested in gaming, I might have joined to help with the forum's activity.
You should host contests with other gaming forums, like what I did in the past to boost the activity of both forums. Or, you can join other popular gaming communities, make a few friends, then when they accept you, tell them about your forum & ask them to help out the activity of your game forum.
what is wrong with my host?
I have advertised on forumotions support forum and I got a few members from there, one of which makes a good mod, but nobody else joins up from it.
The site text looks quite small and combined with the colour scheme, that makes it difficult to read. Perhaps that's just me, but improving that, might help you get more members to join.
I am not going to start getting a paying host, because then I will be losing money. Also seeinga s though I am not over 18, I don't think I should be doing that yet.
I don't see what is wrong with the colour scheme or the size of the text? I will trying improving them both though.
Sorry undercoverjamil, I didn't mean to suggest that there is anything wrong with your design. Personally I find it uncomfortable to read the text on the site, but other visitors might have a different view.
I'm going to say a VERY famous quote that almost everyone looking to make a website and or LIFE in general.
"You have to spend money, to make money" In your case "You have to give it all, to get it all" The second quote meaning Paid hosting if you plan to have your website for a long time would be your best bet, I'm in NO way stating you MUST have paid hosting not what I'm saying at all. Mainly you can buy a simple plan from HawkHost very cheap.
And if your website doesn't work out just make another one, since you still have the hosting and all 😉.
