how to get active members??

i tired posting on game site , forums etc...but i don get results..
even i got members they don come back and hang around with the forums...

Mate i noticed in a few of your posts, many spelling errors.
Also make yourself (or have made) a cool signiture so that people see it, even if they don't click they may notice it and may come back to it at a later date.

Just a few little tips, but good luck with your site mate.

maby think about using post exchanges to improve your sites stats will help make the forum look more active.

Yeah I agree with roadley14 as you have quite a few spelling errors that doesn't help as much.

Try to get a good design/detailed banner as alot of members love design in forums!
Add detailed descriptions and add features that you think would be good to you and other users.

When you get members, try getting their MSN/AIM/Yahoo screen names and chatting with them. That way you can get familiar with them and keep them active. You can also spot potential staff that way too.

A generic ''Chat Thread'' is a good idea as well for members to ''hang out''. However after you get past the 1,000 member mark it can suck up activity. Under that you should be fine. Members get to know each other ect.

Give your members a reason to come back and post. Here people have to come back and post to earn FP Cash and trade it with other members / buy services. Users also keep coming back to bump their Ad topics.

If you don't give users a reason to come back, they won't.
