I am looking for a website or company to sponsor me...how do I do this? D you think anyone would be willing to sponsor me? And would emailing places like best buy or Walmart give me like a gift card or something if I display something on my site?

And lastly, is anyone out there willing to sponsor my site?

If you want sponsors you need to do a better job then the post above. You have to put out a marketing strategy and tell prospects what you are about and why sponsoring you is an advantage. Right now, I will say no, I have no idea who you are.

If you are going to seek out sponsors, spell it out and be clear about it. Even on a place like FP, your first post is our first impression.

Okay! Thanks for the tips! I will do that!

And who am I? I am iPhonefreak! I am the owner of Social Hut! (http://socialhut.net/index.php) I am on various forums around, I am on about 30 forums and I'm moderator on a few.

That's just a brief summary, of course.

Is SocialHut the site you want sponsorship for? How much sponsorship are you looking for?

Just posting here so I can get the notifications and pick up some tips 🙂

Yes, Social Hut is the site I want sponsorship for.

And I'm not sure what you mean, but by how much...anything would be good.

You could start off by outlining the benefits someone would get from sponsoring your forum. E.g. how many visits you are getting per day and the type of people who visit your forum.

Next put together some kind of sponsorship offer together, in other words tell sponsors what they would get. E.g. do they get a banner ad, a "sponsored by.. " text link, etc, etc.

You could put all of the above together in a thread in our Advertising Marketplace here on FP. That would give you a good start and you could move on from there.

Remember that sponsorship can be for a short period of time, e.g. this month's sponsor.
