How to get more traffic website?

There is lots of ways. Social media is probably the best because there is more people on there, who could bring traffic to your site. Advertise in other people sites through the use of things like affiliates. Make sure your content in the site is different and format it so it looks appealing to potential people. SEO is another good way of bringing traffic. Focus on long-term key words because the days of short words are gone and make sure you're posts include all relevant terms and phrases related to your topic.
 
The first thing you need to do is make sure you use a good blogging platform such as WordPress. This will help you to get started quickly and to work more efficiently.
 
Guest posting is usually helpful on reputable sites. You should try it out. Also try submitting your site to reputable site Directories and invest a few bucks in social medial promotion. Facebook is usually great as it will deliver your content to the relevant Audience. A combination of the suggestions laid out in the comments is something you sholld do as well.
 
You may use a social media, this should bring good effect. Moreover, very effective is a commercial videos. In such a short video you may contain the most important informations about your products or services.

- PR your page on social network and forum, blog... put your page link in those posts

Actually, there are a couple big caveats to this from personal experience that make me say it's almost not worth going the route of advertising unless you're a big business.

First off, it's expensive. And unless you're advertising for a profitable website or service, the cost of advertising will probably outweigh the pros.

Secondly, your claim that ads will generate hundreds if not thousands of clicks to your website is, I am suspecting, not true. A GOOD click-through rate of an ad is still only 2% (aka. 2% of all impressions result in a click). And that's very hard to achieve unless you're very good with marketing. And even then, a lot of traffic you drive might be malicious. For example, I had a very small Google Ad running for some time, and the only users it ever drove in were a couple dating-spammers that spammed my users with requests to email them for pictures. That was $40 down the tube. And my click through rate was about 1.5%. But my problem continues even with ads: Guests who go to my website rarely ever actually join.

So I would not recommend using advertising providers unless you're looking to make a profit off of your visitors.
 
In order to increase your website traffic and ranking, I would suggest you to learn and research about SEO, I think at first you need to learn from many famous and largest websites about SEO, SEM such as: Searchengineland. com, Searchenginewatch. com, Searchenginejournal. com, Moz. com,...they're all giving free basic SEO, SEM techniques and courses that you can follow up and practice as well. After that, you should apply these techniques on your own website with your domain and hosting, try your best to practical daily as much as possible.

I believe that you can get the archive after some months you try hard.

It all depends on the content and the keywords of said content.
The more you post the more bots come in.
 
If you want to get more traffic on your website, then you have to do on page and off page SEO and SMO too. In SEO, do directory submissions, bookmarking, classifieds and many more.
 
I suggest you to make some strategy off-page and smo mixed will definitely give you traffic.
 
I think subdomain cannot use the above techniques to get more traffic or page rank. That means we should buy a hosting plan to use above techniques to get traffic.
Am I right?
 
If you have some budgets, you may try some paid traffic sources such as Facebook Ads, GG Adwords or Solo ads. If you don't have, just try to do SEO as much as you can, I think you will get more alot of organic traffic if you try hard.

If your site is a personal website, my best bet is to get help from your friends in social media. You start with your personal friends (those are people you really know) and then extend to other friends who are reactive to your posts. If you can gather 100 of those friends to help you promote your site then you are on the go. You can also put out an ad for your site in the social media but it has a cost involved. If you have a budget, that would be faster to get traffic by paid content writers. But the cost is no joke.
