How to increase Adsense CPC?

Is there a way to increase the Adsense's CPC? A way I heard is to block all the ads that have low CPC. Does that work? How can I identify low CPC ads?

I was banned a long time ago but you can:

- Use standard advertising sizes which have a larger number of bids on them.


CPC really comes down to what niche you are in and your target demographic.

There's a way to block certain ads from appearing on your site, however if there's a way to tell what the CPC is for each ad, then I'm unaware of that.

I sometimes block ads that look bad or say Download with a button to get people to try and click it.

Does blocking annoying ads decrease your CPC? I guess it would make sense for it to.

Use less ads. You'll be surprised at how much more clicks you'll get if you have 1 quality ad as opposed to having 50 crappy ads on one page.
