Hello all, I am new here. I have my furniture site so I want to know how to increase traffic and increase sale?

Use Twitter and use hashtags that'd interest people along with being something to do with your furniture.

Perhaps even like "Wanting to watch #TheWalkingDead on a new #couch we have some couches on sale today only! - link to site - " It'll get some attention to your site. You can replace the TV show depending on the night/day.

OP, I wouldn't follow this advice. It'll get you nowhere, unless you have people who are already following you on twitter. Nobody is going to click on a blatant ad unless you have followers that engaged with the tweet already.

OP, your best bet is to build a pinterest account. Pinterest is filled with women who are looking to spend money. Who mostly likes decorating and furniture? Women.

To get started, create an account (business or personal) and try to find big accounts that are pinning furniture related stuff. Create boards that are similar to theirs and repin a ton of their pins to your freshly created boards. After you have 3-4 furniture boards that are filled with furniture (aim for crazy-looking, geeky, unique furniture), start following people who are following big accounts in your niche. Like, go absolutely nuts. Follow. Follow. Follow. You can follow about 300 people/hr with no problems.

Every day, pin more furniture to your boards and keep following new people. It'll take a minute to build a following, but overtime accounts grow faster. Once you have about 2k+ followers, start pinning furniture from your site. Pin furniture from your site that is really interesting. For example, a star wars lamp or a cat shaped pillow. Stuff women can either buy as gifts or for themselves.

This method usually drives traffic and sales. I don't recommend any other social media site for your niche. Nobody on twitter, facebook, or google+ is going to be interested in furniture. Considering the concentration of women on pinterest though, there's a good chance you'll at least get traffic from there. This is a good method to get free traffic.

If you have money to invest though, then I really recommend you invest into some ad platform. Pinterest has paid ads you can use, or you could go for cheaper ads like in-line and that sort of thing.

Hope this advice helps. Keep in mind, it'll take a minute before you start benefiting from Pinterest, but really pinterest is your best bet when it comes to social media traffic.

^ OP I would do that as well.

But the Hashtags get about 100 views per tweet. I would also tweet the area or city name in a tweet that you deliver to, or #Dealsin*Whatevercityname* it does work on getting clicks and actually seen. 🙂

But doing what the above member said would also get a follow from people who are interested in furniture.

Two ways to get traffic for ecommerce site

1. Social media promotion
2. PPC

You can use social media sites Youtube (create a niche videos of your products and promote it), Instagram (a good way to get more traffic). Keep updating them with new content often

Paid traffic includes Bing ads and Google Adwords (which generally works)

Perhaps you've had better luck than me, but paid advertising was a terrible choice on my behalf. I've used Microsoft Bing and Google Adwords. Plus other paid ad services.

I would highly recommend the free options first, and only paid advertising if you definitely have disposable income and are willing to give it a go as a trial.

Goodluck!

I have so far wasted close to $1,500(some of them were auto recurring monthly, that I HAD to cancel), but NONE worked for me. Starting with Ineedhits.com in addition to the numerous services that advertise for the guaranteed google 1st page ranking, guaranteed boost in visitors(though it turns out that they were nothing more than bots, or fake visitors that only make it LOOK like they are legitimate that does absolutely NOTHING but shown as a visitor. No conversions whatsoever), tried Google adwords, but spending $200 for 2 months of trying saw NOTHING, No conversions, and no results. So, based upon my experience, I can firmly say that, Don't Do it. There should be an easier way that are FREE, rather than throwing your hard earned money to the drainage like I have. There might be some that MIGHT work, but I just got fooled and lied to just too many times, and I am NEVER going back to the paid advertisement.

Although huge ways are possible to raise your ecommerce website traffic, free classified sites ever will be helpful. The first thing, you don’t need to spend money to post free ads. Also, you can collect thousands of top ad posting sites from online.

Adding new content to your website on a regular basis is a great digital marketing practice. The search engines love it, but more importantly your audience should find it useful. Your blog is your very own channel to communicate directly with your audience of potential customers and advocates.
