One of the best and easiest ways to get a quick backlink (for SEO purposes) is by posting a blog comment on another person's blog. But you will want to ensure the comment is relevant to the blog. Let's talk about some ways you can ensure the comments are relevant and will actually survive moderation to be published on the blog.

Here are a few ideas.

Always be sure to read the blog post thoroughly, don't just skim. Then respond directly to one or two points made on the blog post. You could also take time to respond directly to other comments made via the blog comment section. This will help continue the conversation. Please add your own ideas.

I think forum posts and social media postings are the quickest way to get backlinks for your website. Blog comments on high page rank or high traffic blogs require time to get moderated and approved. Some blogs also have the "nofollow" tag for the comments. So I think blog comments are not the quickest way and also all comments are not the relevant ways to get SEO backlinks.

Yeah, it's always good to get a sense of what the post is about so that you can make your comments sound non-spammy and actually authentic.

Hi,
Blog comment is only one thing that we can get high PR backlinks (Although the links are nofollow)
Few basic things we should keep in mind
Do not use keywords in the name section of blog.
Comment only relevant high PR blog.

You could research the article into more depth and try and make an argument based on the extra research.

Some of the key points that you should remember while posting comments are as follows -:

1. If You Have Something Valuable or interesting to Add to the Discussion, then you should comment or else its just spamming .

2. Try to become a regular face around a specific community of your niche.Have your photo associated with your comment. Its just good practice and gives you a personal touch.

3. Finding the Right Blogs that associates to your website is the most important thing. Commenting everywhere is just plain stupid and a waste of your time.

And I certainly agree with Beverly. She laid down the basics of blog commenting .

This is a really excellent point and something a lot of bloggers miss out on. If you take time to get involved in a blog community and comment on a blog regularly, not only will your comments get approved, but you'll build trust with the blog owner and other readers of the blog. This can be a good source of traffic/readers for your own blog. Just take time and really make an effort to post quality comments. It pays off.

Blog commenting is always very effective to promote your website. But it should be relevant and unique.

Its more better to pick relevant blog or forums to share, express views on the topic to get more attention from search engines...

I always find that the comments I enjoy most, are the comments made by people who actually spent the time to read the article before commenting. If someone read it, then I don't mind too much with the person doing some shameless plug to their website, so long as it isn't overboard, or detracting to what is posted.

So, when I post comments, I try to do the same thing I expect people to do when commenting on my website.
