How to submit XML site map to Google Webmaster?

First generate the sitemap from an online sitemap generator, and then submit the XML file to Google webmaster tool. No confusions in that.

It's very easy. First you have to create & download your sitemap from google. If your website have more then 500 pages then you have to create it manually. When you login in webmaster there is option to add sitemap. Just attach the sitemap & and check it on xyz.com/sitemap.xml

Firstly, You have to generate XML site from XML Site map generator. Then you will get a site map link e.g. www.xyz.com/sitemap.xml. Go to Google Web master > Crawl > Sitemaps and upload site map URL over there and submit.

The first step would be to generate a sitemap, then, add your website in Google's Search Console, and paste the link to your sitemap.

Sitemap is indeed a great idea to get your pages indexed fast and in a better way. If you're using WordPress, there are a couple of plugins that assist in making sitemaps. Apart from that, you may also use your RSS feed as a sitemap 🙂

Another way is adding your sitemap on robots.txt, that way you dont need to visit every search engine's webnaster tools.
