OK, I'm using PowerPoint online to create a brochure about Marie 1988 (my forum) as I've been getting a lot of questions about what the forum is about. How do you take a screenshot of just the logo? If you need any more information I'll try to provide more. Thanks.

Oh sorry... I misread your post >_<

Well when reading it again, you want to take a screenshot of the logo, from PowerPoint? I'm confused... think you need to elaborate on that more.

I knew this would happen. Yes, it is for the powerpoint. I'm trying to do some kind of brochure kind of thing that I can post online as a sort of advertisement thing. It's kind of hard to explain. They have a business wiki on there too, maybe I should create one of those instead, although I've never done a wiki page before, and it's been ages since I've done a PowerPoint.

So, you are trying to take a screen shot and want to crop out the rest of the screen but the logo? You can do this by pressing the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard, once you have done this you will want to open your favorite Photo editing program and create a new file then paste the screenshot (ctrl+v). Then, locate the crop tool and then you can crop it and save it. If you cannot do this, feel free to show me what you want a screenshot of and I will happily do this for you to save you the hassle.

Hope this helps

You can use the free online version, just click "Launch Application" You can screenshot the whole page or just a little of the page. Here is a link to it http://www.apowersoft.com/free-screen-capture

You can install Lightshot extension on your brower . through it can take a snapshot of anything you want .

Maxthon 3 Web browser has a screen capture option for taking screenshots of a whole website or a selected region.

Maxthon is similar to Google Chrome since Maxthon uses the WebKit website layout engine like older versions of Chrome until Chrome switched to Blink which is based on Webkit.

Is this a Google Chrome extension or Firefox or which?

I've tried Maxathon before and I never cared for it. I'm more of a Google Chrome fan myself.

Chrome is a nice web browser, but it sometimes uses more RAM, and CPU resources than Maxthon, and Firefox 36, so I usually stick to alternative browsers like Firefox, and sometimes Maxthon when I need to download video with its video downloader in Maxthon.

Lightshot is available on both Firefox & chrome. Try it, who knows it could be what you need.

Surprised no one has mentioned this yet, but the newer versions of PowerPoint should have a screenshot tool under the "Insert" tab that allows you to drag a box over the area you'd like to grab a shot of.

Have you heard about LIghtshot? I use this software, you can select any part of your screen to take a snapshot. Beside, it allows you to upload the snapshot to its home page to share with your friend through SKype. Your friends do not need to download snapshot to computer, instead, they can see it on Lightshot home page
