How to up my forums activity?

POST EXCHANGES.
My forum has pover 800 members, 60,000+ posts. And, over 40% of my members find me through Google searches.
But, I still do post eschanges to this day.
There's no shame in post exchanges. It helps bring in new members and fresh content for your active members to reply to.
Plus, some members actually stay after the post exchange is complete. Not always the case, but it does happen.

However for starters, you may want a different theme and banner. The banner's kinda plain, and your theme isn't all that pleasant (not ugly, but not pleasant) to look at.

Post yourself on your forum as much as you can. If you are invested in the forum, other people will become invested.
