How to use Joomla?

I just got the Joomla 3,1 in my laptop today, but don't know what to do with it, because I am brand new to this. I checked the documentation in their website, and it says there are some pre requirements, I don't know any of the things listed there. Please tell me how to use this software? Where to start up? Thanks!

Get a webhosting account first, most probably you will be able to install the joomla from its softaculus or any other script installer, when installed you'll be able to reach it's admin panel, from where you can manage your joomla site.

Thank you, I understand something now, I think those stuff listed is for webhosting mainly. Am I right?

It takes a while to learn to think like Joomla thinks.

Fortunately, everything you need to know is available on the internet. There are some wonderful resources available online to help you get through the initial learning curve of this powerful system.

And, I've put several of my favorites and most recommended tutorial sources below. Some of these sites are free. Others have a very reasonable charge.

Thank you for the advice. I actually am using wp instead, which is quite easier I guess. 🙂
