How was your Halloween?

Mine was good, I got off work early and went and got my daughter from her mom's house. We wandered the streets for hours trick or treating until we got tired. We went to the richer neighborhood. She got a few toys, full size candy bars, along with the regular snack size/mini candies that people usually give out. Someone was giving out bottles of water & soda which was a pretty good idea. Needless to say she got a ton of candy and it was fun.

My Halloween was ok, I got lots of PM's from the competition.

There wasn't that many people who knocked here last night though, there are usually more.

I went down to Kranzler Eck, a richer part of town and even though we were too old we went trick or treating. Came back with €46 and lots of sweets. -happy- We all then got a bit drunk and watched the SAW films.

Basically got a bottle of vodka drink it slightly too fast went to the pubs hada laugh then went for a spin in the car (no i wasn't driving -roll- ) felt ruff as hell so i went home ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzz

Mine was ok. I didn't go trick or treating because I am too old for that and I didn't have many people who knocked here last night I think that is mostly because I didn't put up any Halloween decorations.

Halloween in America, is celebrated in much greater spirit than the british, I had one halloween there and it was brill!
I had half the amounts of sweets this year, no 1/4 compared to that picture 😉
Make sure she doesn't gobble them up in a day like me -lol-

halloween is way to comericalised. but like christmas

i dont celebrate either in the way people do now.

i celebrate Samhain and Yule in a prechristian way 😛 last night i hosted a ritual in honor of the gods and goddesses on the Nordic Tradition (Odinism its called these days - id rather it just be called Heathenry)

lots of preparation went into it and it was really great. i remembered my old work collegue who was killed last year - 2 guys beat him to death, and my grandad who i miss so much.
then we drank lots of ale and mead hahaha, chatted, etc it was great fun. cant wait till Yule now

I didnt get anything, all that is for my daughter but Im not going to let her eat it all at once.. She can have a few peices a day. Hersheys bars are pretty good. There was a hershey factory here and I went on a tour of it when I was younger and saw how they made all the candy. It was really cool. Too bad they closed it down and shipped everything in the factory down to Mexico and put 1,500 people out of a job just because its cheaper to operate down there.
