I think Stoke City will finish in the top 10. What do you think?

Top 10 is far to ambitous for Stoke City at the minute. I don't feel they will get relegated but they won't finish in the top 10, certainly not with the quality of other squads. I think the will finish in a safe position which will be good enough for them. They managed to survive last year now they have to start building to become an established Premier League team and that can take a while.

I think none of them will be true so have not voted, however I highly rate Tony Pulis and his Stoke squad, and think they will do very well this season indeed. I know many dislike Pulis' style of play but it gets the job done, and with one of the best set of fans in the country who knows how far they can go. Good luck Tony and cheers for the time you spent down here in Plymouth!

Yes I know a top 10 finish is a bit unrealistic, but I can dream can't I?

Yeah there's no harm in that! Tony Pulis is a very good boss, and there is no doubt that Stoke City will be in the Premiership for several years to come.

Yes, you can dream. I support Pompey, and right now I'm dreaming about us getting a single point. Never mind a top 10 finish.

Like Efc said, Stoke won't finish in the Top 10 with the likes of Hot Spuds and City challenging the top 4, not to mention the teams such as Fulham and Villa who managed to qualify for Europe last season. On the other hand they certainly won't be faced with another relegation battle.

It will be interesting to see how they cope without the injured Sorenson and Beattie - Beattie specifically who played such a big role in Stoke avoiding the drop last season.

It was great until Redknapp left, then we entered the whole Tony Adams / Paul Hart saga, not to mention the "will it, won't it" takeover drama.

I was shocked and stunned to see Hart offered a 2 year managerial contract by Al Fahim. Hart has a proven record of failure and wasn't able to sign any decent players besides Jamie O'hara this transfer window. He can't motive the players, doesn't have a winning mentality and if he remains the manager we'll surely remain rock bottom for the rest of the reason.

Haha! Redknapp is a brilliant boss, so no wonder you're rueing the loss of him. Not to worry I support Plymouth Argyle so as well as being bottom of the Championship I am constantly reminded of a certain television advert. 🙁 Bad times! lol

Also forgot to mention that Stoke done some brilliant business in the transfer window in signing Tuncay and Robert Huth.

Yeah, agreed.

I think Stoke will get close to a top 10 position though... they got 12th last season and have added some decent players to their squad, and are immense at home.

Stoke will just survive. I mean they have a great team, but they just can't beat teams like Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal or Man U.
