How will you know if the online job you're working with is fake or not legit? 🙁:cry: Sad, how i wish it's not. I spend so many time doing my work. I believe it's not. Geez, I just hate how that person ruin my belief just tonight about this online job thing. Well, she really is paranoid in everything.

always have to be that extra step in front and be smart and think about you act in what you are doing

If the conditions are too favorable or investments in the work are needed, then this is a deception, unequivocally.

Sorry to hear you have had this problem, but don't get discouraged. And don't get so "paranoid" that you
are afraid to even step out the front door.
It is kind of like learning to deal with the traffic in the streets, they are very dangerous, especially if one does not know
to take certain precautions, like only using the cross walks, and only when the light is green and says Walk,....but even then
you still need to look both ways, and make sure, obviously if there is a car or vehicle coming really fast, and it does not look like they will stop, one does not step out in front of them, until they really have stopped.

First , do some searches, check the website that is offering the job. There are various methods to do that,
"mywot.com" is one, If there have been reports submitted, then caution is needed. Yes , sometimes the reports are not acurate, but often they are.
Use the search engines, check the name of the person is using, etc.
You don't give any details, on what happened, this might not be the place for that, maybe it is..... You should report
the incident, every where you can, for example at mywot.com, and any where else. Even though you were a victim, your reports
will help others avoid being "victimized" as well.
Yes , sadly the internet is very full of criminals, and abusive types of people, they are like the same idiots , and crazy people
in their cars, and don't care who they "run over", the don't stop when the light is red, even if someone is all ready in the cross
walk.

There were two jobs on freelancer.com and they wanted me to add the post on their sites and they never cleared how to do that.

Even their site was under construction.

They did not reply my message and I left working freelancer.com for data entry now only for designing.

I think for a real job one can get a blog about the job and provide services. Own community for the job could help to get the right person.

Try to go with some safe marketplace. For instance, if you're a writer, then go to some place where the marketplace is paying you, not the forum or blog owner. However, though, if you want to take a risk, then, as others have suggested, you should investigate the owner's reputation.

TRUE...just really be wise about this things. I guess, when it involves money paying...that's the time when you will be wise na. Thanks Empire 🙂

Correct. That's what I've observed also when it's not legit or just a scam. Thanks Kuznec🙂

Unlike before when writers would dive into a site that purportedly pays, now, writers have learned a neat lesson. Proof of payment is the first requirement before immersing yourself. You can check with the existing members of the site if they have been paid. There was one site with one member proclaiming that he got paid. No other member could say the same. And you can guess what happened next.

This is mostly a deal with private individuals, not companies.

I would love to get some kind of work that paid me, and I could do it all from my home , "on-line",
but I think I would want to be able to actually meet the "boss" , my employer in person as well
before trusting them.
