Most people are staying in this New Year's Eve...are you one of them?
Our usual celebration is to order pizzas and watch movies. We used to rent movies years ago and now we turn on Netflix. My husband doesn't even make it to midnight anymore but I try to and then I wake him up when I see the fireworks out our window...oh and the gun fire. We live in the country and the farmers like to shoot their guns!
This year I won't be staying up since I have to work on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. New Year's Eve, I'll get off work at 5 pm so I'll get to come home and have dinner with my hubby (we're planning on making pizza sandwiches). But I'll be in bed by 9:30 or 10 because I have to go to work at 8 am on New Year's Day.
But the people where I live will be doing the same thing, @Lämmchen I live in the south so there will be people shooting off their guns at midnight. Anyone else will be shooting off fireworks.
We don't do anything anyways. We are homebodies lol It's just a regular ol' day for us. Tho we do try to stay up. Getting harder as we get older 🙂
We live rural as well & the people here don't need an excuse to shoot.
