This is not naming names but more like a generic topic.
To me, it’s someone that is very abusive & degrading. Who puts down others. Aka a bully. I don’t tolerate it on my forum. They are given a warning (benefit of the doubt). If they don’t tone it down after being asked, they will be banned.
If I’m on a forum where someone is not moderated like that, I will leave.
What constitutes a “worst member” in your book?
Agreed about bullies, I don't want them on my board. I know a few abrasive people who aren't afraid to speak their minds when need be, and that can get them into trouble at times, but they are still good people. Outright bullies or trolls, though, no chance.
When it comes to describing the worst member I would have to say that it would be someone who purposely tries to cause trouble around the forums, someone who is always out to bully on the forum and just be negative on the forum. These kinds of people I just can not stand and I feel they bring a bad vibe to any community when they are like that. If someone joins my forum and they are a bully or a troll, they do not get second chances.
Had trolls spammers idiots but that's most people day to day normal members and not the worse. Worse members are the disrespect that attack you and your members and staff members which can put a bad impact on the site. I had times when members join and posted nude pornography images around and when I logged int the morning I had to remove them fast.
ENd of the day they have rules to follower and if they go so deep and far they are OUT and banned
