Forget the 1 month traffic until you've been opened for 6 months and more. You're a brand new forum, therefore every day must count. You need to document what you do every day, monitor the statistics, your most active content, your traffic sources and more. After a week if you've seen an increase in traffic, check what you've done and repeat, repeat and repeat, and expand. If your traffic has decreased, check your active content and your referring sites, and aim at those that are succeeding to exploit them for further benefits. Currently, all your traffic is static, therefore this months performance is crucial, these members may never visit your site again, so ensure that there is something enticing them to join, or you've just lost a potential member(s).
Your bounce rate is average, 30%-50% is great, if you're lower that means your view conversion rate is amazing. You need to remove the ads and affiliate banners, you won't be making much of them anyway, and they steer away members especially when the content can be found elsewhere. Your design is nice so that cannot be a contributing factor.
Your page views aren't bad, that's pretty good, so keep up the great work. That's also a nice amount of visits that are new. If you want a further evaluation of your traffic statistics, please post me/send me an image of your last weeks traffic, referring sites and anything else you find necessary.
Good luck.
