It's happening again and I'm still none the wiser as to why it is. When creating a post, coding shows. Does anyone know why?

Can you post your showthread template?

Which forum is it happening on and is it only in certain sections?

It happens everywhere, it happened on a forum I used to own with the same theme too. I can't give away the URL though as it's not yet open and it's private.

Does this only happen when you use quick reply, or when you click 'New Reply' and go to the message editor and click send?

It appears it's fine in Quick Reply, just issue with topics and new replies.

Ok, can you post your newreply template here please.

New Reply Templates > newreply

Made no difference.

Not quite sure what the problem is then. Assuming you have no plugins that interfere with this, I'd just wonder what this code is:

Code:
<script type="text/javascript">bkLib.onDomLoaded(nicEditors.allTextAreas);</script>

We have NewPoints, but I can't imagine that being an issue?

NewPoints shouldn't make an issue.

The only other sections I can think to check is that of my last post regarding that particular piece of javascript and to see if you have anything unusual in your headerinclude template.

Could you go into the functions and post something or PM what the variables $posts and $newreply are ? Maybe $quickreply too

I would think it is in there as I do not see that exact HTML in the listed codes.

Not sure if you saw this, just re posting in case you didn't 🙂

I don't fully understand what you are asking, I'm quite new to the technical aspect of things, I apologise.

I don't think it's anything to do with the PHP files. Are you sure you don't have any plugins that interact with the way you post? For instance a WYSIWYG editor or anything that add's features to the new reply page?

We decided to go with a new theme as it was quite buggy 🙂
