Well for an original logo design (literally made from scratch) it would probably cost you more than $0.50 I'm sorry to say.. It's due to the time it takes to think of that original design and make it from scratch..
If you're only wanting text as these samples provide I'd say you're offering a good price but if you did want an actual logo and not text or not just text well.. $0.50 is very cheap.

I've seen people spend $20 or more for an original logo just for their forum, not saying you have to by any means, just trying to get it through that for $0.50 you probably won't get very good results for this..

Alrighty, just to let anyone else know that might be trying this.. if you use someone elses' design for his logo that is in fact stealing unless the original creator gave away all rights to it to the public. If you submit your design and it contains such a logo/icon you could not only get yourself in trouble but Dy.namik as well.
