People get off on being superior. That's what this Bible reading I read today was saying. However, though, sometimes we need to correct people for just not trying. How to deal with this dilemma?
 
You can't. People will do what they want. You can only control your actions. If I worried about controlling what everyone else was doing, I'd go insane.

Some might want to change their romantic partner's thinking. That goes on all the time.

I prefer to pick and choose my battles. My girlfriend and I don't always share the same views and I'm not looking to change her mind on anything. If there's one thing I've learned since my divorce is that some things are best left unsaid. Sometimes it's better keep your views and opinions in the closet so you can play along to get along. If you can't do that, you're going to wind up being alone.
