Well, I guess you learned your lesson. 🙁 That's why you should never get licences from anyone except the creator of the software. The same applies to sites which offer software downloads. Always use official sources, always.
 
This is not the forum for posting that you have been scammed, nor buying a vBulletin license.

Christ, people never learn. There is a reason why they are selling so low. Also, use your own hosting so that they can't take it back.

Mind telling us the guy's MSN or username on here so that we know not to buy stuff from assholes?
 
He also had his VB license installed on his forum, so if you look at it that way it is news. But, we should stop spamming this topic. You know my MSN. Do IM me if you want to continue.

People these days. My friend bought an unbranded vBulletin (unbranded = with copyright removal) for $10. The guy tried to scam him, but he knew the recovery question and got back the license, so he basically scammed the scammer XD

Why on earth would you ever buy anything of value from a site with grammar like theirs? 😵

Good to hear you're on the right track to getting things back though. For the record I wouldn't host a forum with them, looks like they have a habit of ripping people off. Good chance your site won't load one day and your database will be for sale on a blackmarket.
 
Sorry, I am going to have to lock this. This is for major accomplishments and milestones. Something such as scams do not fit. Thanks 🙂
