I better upgrade

I best upgrade to 3.0.6 😳 Is there a way you can do it without the MODs stuffing up?

The automatic updater is improved alot previously. The only issue you will have is if the mod is not compatible with phpBB 3.0.6. We had to remove 2 mods from here to get the forum working well.

The update tends to be ok i found with phpBB3.0.6 but you just need to check the phpBB forums to see if each of your mods work for phpBB3.0.6.

Hmmm... Didn't work It kept telling me conflicts and to download files and when I did it did the same thing over and over.

For the conflicts you get an option to loose the modified code (i think it is the default option for conflict files). For this forum all the conflicts were in files that no mod here had touched. I just chose that option that then proceeded to the next stage where you download all the modified files.

Next to the loose modified code option on a conflict file there is an option to see what changes in the file. See if there is any code in that file relating to a mod. If there isn't then just set the option to loose modified code and use the new phpBB code where there is a conflict option. If a mod has modified that file then you have a little issue. You don't have to download anything until after you select what you want to do with each file and it compiles all the changes and redirects you to a download page.
