On my gaming news and review blog I get lots of readers, but for some reason I hardly ever get comments on my articles (unless I buy them). I could probably count the amount of legit comments on 2 hands.

How can I start getting people commenting? I don't know if it's just me, but even when I see I have thousands of people seeing my articles, I don't feel as good as when I see people commenting on them, if you know what I mean?

People usually comment when they A) have something to add up to the article in question or B) reply on an already existing comment.

When you don't have A present you cannot have B.

Of course this is just 1 of the many reasons people comment but I believe this to be one of the big reasons why.

Do your articles make people want to have their say on what they think?

It really matters on how you write. There are tricks I suppose to getting your readers to not just read but comment to.

I hope some will share those with you in this topic.

I usually ask an opinion on what they think of the news, or how they like the game etc.

You really want to make them feel that there a part, and want to take part Make It so its directed to them, get them interested

I wouldnt get down on it my friend. Your articles are of good quality so I don't think it's the fact that they don't fully read them. I was reading masters comment and he said that the reason people comment is because they have something to add. The thing is there's nothing left to add because you provide so much info, and in detail.

What if you were to ask something like, tell us your multiplayer experience for this game or was this headphone worth your money, any faults or annoyances?

Maybe you could start a small contest for the most helpful comment made in a month?
