I got a job.

I'm posting this to let you guys know that I got a job. I'm working as a cashier at Dollar Tree.

I really like my job. I got help through the vocational coach to get this job.

I've been working now for about 2 weeks now and I'm really glad to be working there.

And it's only 15 minutes from where I live, so I can walk there.

No. I worked in the past. I worked as a teachers aide for 5 summers and when I went to college, I worked in the college bookstore.

I haven't been to work since Janurary 2009, so it's nice to be back to working.

I remember my first job at the age of 16.

I was a cashier,stocker,and bagger at a grocery store.

Good luck on dealing with money! I hope you haven't miscounted your drawer yet. 😀 I worked with some people that worked as cashiers, and they miscounted their drawers a number of times. I had recount their drawers a few times to make sure that they werent off any.

I've done good at the register. I'm allowed to be off by a max of $3 either way, but the farthest I've been off since I started was $0.63.

No. I'm getting more than that.

Only because it's the internet, I don't feel comfortable saying my exact wage, but it's definitely more than $1/hour.
