That's what happens when you give money to people you don't know, trust or haven't seen in real life.

There is almost nothing you can do. Bad luck.

What you need to do is contact paypal and tell them what has happened as unless he has a signed recepit for the $400 he say you had of his he has broken the law well he has anyway as even if you dod have his $400 he stil would have $150 of yours, make sure you print out all teh e-mails you get from this guy and paypal then go to the law as he has done you big time, I am sure paypal would be a great help to you if you contact them though.

Paypal has nothing to do it, he sent the money to him legally through them, once it's in his account they have nothing to do with it, he gave him instructions to send it to him when he gets it, and he didn't, so therefore, it's his banks or the polices problem.

^ True.

Be sure to screenshot/forward all discussion emails and confirmations of agreement. Once they see you are legit, they will also ban that user/suspend his account.

True, I would contact paypal. Try and find details about the person scamming you (ie: phone number). Paypal should have those details stored.

Paypal are not allowed to give out those sort of details without a legal document.

Wow man, that really, really sucks. Good luck trying to get your cash back. 🙁

Dude. Never trust people now in days. Well, that's a lot of money. Maybe you could call the police, that's all I can think of.

He is saying he sent me 400$ on november 30 for /articles!!! OMG! And i didnt provided so i refunded his cash but there is no transaction like that in november, december, or any date! He never sent me any thing even close to 60$! Even if we calculate all the payments made by him, it wont even sum up 150$!!!

Wow, and I thought being scammed of £20 was a lot! 😛

Good luck in trying to get your money back.

You should contact Paypal since they can advise you on what to do.

Filing a police report is also an option.

If you were doing buisness with his company (not individual), you can also file or threaten to file an complaint with the http://www.bbb.org/ or a similar organization, so others won't get scammed, and his companies reputation won't get tarnished if he returns the cash.

That why, dont trust people you dont know. If you knew him in real life thats a different story, but someone you've never met.. you should have known better. I totally agree with froggyboy604, you should contact paypal.

You should contact the Police and then hopefully once they are involved Paypal may have to give up certain details.

Hope you get your money back!

I opened a paypal dispute 🙁 and now he is saying he sent me cash and he is the buyer and that payment was done as a refund but as paypal know everything this lie wont go too far, he never sent anything even close to 150$ to me! Even if he calculate all payments by him, they wont even sum up 150$!

I'm sorry to sound mean, but that was really dumb. I'm guessing you did this because you received an e-mail, probably in your Junk folder. It's a scam.

Paypal will side with the buyer 99.9% of the time, if the seller doesn't have any proof they'll almost automatically refund your stuff. If you pay by credit card then thats an instant return of your cash that way, a credit card company will always side with the buyer no matter what.
