I got scammed for $550 :(

I'm sorry to hear this :/ I hope you get your money back ASAP. I learned not to deal with known-fraud-country's. I just don't like taking risks. Try not to respond to emails requesting to loan them money and you don't know them.

He is playing double-games! On that forum he is saying he paid me on nov. 30 via payapl and as paypal knows everything he is saying he paid me via western union to paypal guys! And western union never do direct bank transfers!

If he has no proof paypal won't listen to him. Simple as that.
 
Yeah! Even if he show any western union transaction, paypal have my real address and my details! 🙂
 
Why did you even give the money to him , you could have easily withdrawn the money in your bank account . Never ever do this in the future , always withdraw your money directly to your bank account and not through anyone else .

Meaning if there was transferring issues in India, he couldn't have transferred it himself, so getting someone else to do it would have been the next best method. Also, if your PP account is closed, you lose all funds, no matter what, so constant transfers are for safety measures.
 
He should have waited , I know about the Paypal issue since I am also from India and I had to face the same uncertainty as well . There are a lot of people from India who were shocked to hear the news from Paypal . But they waited , even I did . And look now , everything has been solved and I have even verified my Paypal account by using by bank account .

I just hope he gets his money back cause 550$ is a huge amount !

Don't see why you didn't use a middleman service like escrow.com..
