I have personally met a total of six of my past staff members. Always quite a wonderful experience.

Nope. The closest forum guy i know is Envira (MyBB theme dev). But he is about 800-900 kms away, so never had a change to meet him. 🙁

As an administrator I never met my staff members in real life. The first online friend I ever met in real life was a fellow moderator/contributor on my first forum, and that's all.

It's actually kind of cool to be able to meet them in real life, so gonna do that if possible. 😀

A little, at first. But we already talked a lot at the forum, we could continue our talk or find new things to chat as we waited for drinks and food. Eventually it became easier to talk, haha.

I personally would prefer not to meet up with people I have met online... the only possible exception would be Fergal. I prefer to keep my online stuff and my offline life separate.
