Been on an anti-spam crusade the last few days - been over at SFS and Aaron was helping me with an issue (which is sorted now, thanks Aaron) and then I saw his link to here, so I have joined - in hope to get my 2 month old forum some more exposer and to help others on here.

It totally depends on what you want from us. If you want to get more visitors, potential active members and take part in exchanges then focusing on exchange sections might be best aswell as posting around a bit with your site in your signature. Just starting a basic promotion topic will not bring you much traffic alone. If you are more known in the forum and publicise your forum in other ways then you will see more benefit and better results.

If you want to get advice and tips from the community as us then you might want to consider Peer to Peer reviews to get members opinions on your site and potential improvements you can make and/or you can get a review from one of our review team here.
