I Need Some Help With MyBB?

I am having some trouble. I am trying to install the following: A Shoutbox, A Cash/Points system, and a game section to my forum. My host is CreateMyBB and I wanting to know how I can install these plugins. I have asked for assistance on the support forum of CreateMyBB and I have not been given a response. Any help will be appreciated. ~smile~

i would help you mate but im needing access to the admin area which i doubt you would trust me 🙂

im pretty sure there are readme.txt that come with the downloaded plugins unless your using a specifically mybb hosting which im presuming you are so im sure it would be much simpler

Do you have experience with MyBB and installing the Mods & plugins?

I am not wanting to be hacked here..........

i have used mybb before and have successfully installed mods you can trust me but im not like that i dont screw peoples boards up i respect other members creations

As far as i am aware there is no way you are able to install plug-ins on free hosts as whatever is done to one forum would affect all the others. It is up to the host to install them and then make them available for you to activate.

Also i would strongly advise against giving anyone admin rights to your forum that you don't know and can't trust... I am not saying that Jason was going to mess your forum up as he probably wasn't going to but never take the risk. If you do give people admin permissions make sure you trust them or maybe only give it to staff people here as there is less chance us deleting everything then a normal member.

i 100% agree on what fowler has said but maybe if you have you option of giving me the lowest possible admin rights e.g cant delete anything then you got nothing to lose right?....

Yeah i wasn't saying that you can't be trusted but there are some people who set out to ruin peoples forums and this is an easy way for them to do it.
