The image you linked to was just an example that was provided as a reference which BadProgrammers used to make a custom graphic. BadProgrammers then added a screenshot of dom_mc's forum and added text for the name of the forum and the member and post counts.

To get the number of posts in a forum you will need to get it straight from the MySQL database (as long as you're self hosted.) I had a custom sig which did this when I used phpbb3.

You'll need to use PHP. I can do this for you but you'll have to host it on your site and you'll have to pay me quite a bit.
