I need your opinions.

On my forum (MusicBB) I'm changing the forum icons of each forum and I need your opinion.
Should I make every icon for each forum different? (Unread icons, read icons, and locked icons)
Or should I use these for every forum:

(Also be easier to create a legend)

What I'm thinking is using those 3 above for the music discussion forums, and different icons for the other forums.
What do you think?

I would use them for all of them. But it can work the way you want to use them too.

I however did take it upon to me to make some newer ones for you. I used the same image as the unread one and just messed with it. The read & locked one looked different than the unread icon.

Honestly, I'd use the same for all of your forums. It will just make it easier on your members rather than having them all be different.

Also, I like Delerious' redesigns with the grey better than the white.

When I still had my forum on MyBB around, I made read, unread, and locked icons differently for every single forum and sub-forum I had. It did take a longer time preparing and uploading them all, but I was satisfied with the result. It gave personalized touch which I really liked.

It is subjective. Having uniformed icons is not necessarily bad either, if they are made carefully like you did above.
