How about not posting shortened links? I certainly won't click on those kind of links... EVER! How does the user know that you are not sending them to a virus?

HAHA! I would also not click on those links. They can contain malware and adwares that can harm my computer.

You should just run your own short link service and then place ads on there. Pretty much what those two do but with awful conversion rates for the people who use them. Sadly, whenever I see those I mostly just close the window and don't visit the website that directed me towards them.

Yeah. I doubt anyone really likes the adverts. It is an outdated service now that the norm is having syncronised bookmarks.

Just ask them directly. If the profit from that is to be invested in the forums nembers might be willing to click to them rather than trying to trick them into clicking.
