Some of you may know that the Iceland volcanoe struck a while back now, well I went out to collect the washing from the back garden, I ran back in only to smell wrotten egg. My mom thought it was from the volcanoe and so do I, and urgh man the smell was awful. I know the volcanoe struck a while back but this could be the smell just getting across, any of you smell it, and how many of you like the smell of wrotten egg?

Just felt this was needed.

Rotting eggs has to be one of the worst smells out there, right up with rotting meat. Good thing you caught it in time.

Oh wow that's gotta be rough. It'll blow over, no pun intended, soon enough!

I'm too far down to notice anything as yet but I have friends up in Glasgow, I'll have to ask them if they have had anything happen.

Often when we have a very heavy downpour the drains start to smell really bad and it goes right through the house....pure methane, it's not good so I feel for you

Well it cleared up a bit, but the after effects are awful, Glasgows about 15 minutes away from where I am.

I went to some natural hot springs in the mountains one time. It smelled just like rotten eggs.
I think that smell is the sulfur.

I just asked my friends in East Kilbride, no reports of egginess from there, not even of the home made variety
