Ice in Fountain Drinks

They always give way too much ice, and for the longest time I was just always in the habit of asking for easy ice, but I've been going iceless these days, and haven't looked back.

The drink is cold to start with, and once things start warming up ice dilutes way more than I've noticed it help keep it cool.

What's your stance on this important subject?
 
I like ice in my fountain drinks. It gives the drink a more "authentic" feel. It's probably just psychological though. I like to get just the right amount of ice. Usually filled about 75% up with ice before I put in any drink. I sometimes shake it a little bit and add more ice/soda until the ratio is just right.

No ice for me. Ice just waters down the drink like Tucker said. It comes out cold, so ice is redundant. :3
 
I prefer less to zero ice as I don't like super cold drinks. Although when I am in a restaurant or fast food establishment I don't always ask for it that way.
 
I always want a lot of ice in my fountain drinks. I prefer crushed ice because I like to eat the ice whenever I take a sip of my drink. It probably isn't good for my teeth, but it's how I've drank soda ever since I was a little kid.
 
I always hate it whenever I get ice in my fountain drink. In all honesty, the drink is already cold, and I'm going to drink it with my meal, so why do I need ice with it? It's just less drink for me in the end.
 
I very rarely drink pop/soda, I mostly drink iced tea and water. I like having ice in my drinks so I always get them with ice.
 
I hate ice, they use it to give you less liquid. Never been a fan of it
 
I like ice, but when they put it in they fill the glass with ice. I wouldn't be surprised if they opened the kitchen door and there was a blizzard! Next time I go to any restaurant I'm going in a gritting lorry 😀
 
I only get ice if I get something like tea or lemonade. I always ask for no ice in a Coke, because it's not really needed. I just think it's a scam to get us to have less drink our cup.
