Yeh thats what happens when ever our server is playing up.
Right first off the logo/banner is so very good, it sets up the page very well and its simple yet effective so nothing wrong there.
The news part is a very good addition too, did it take you long setting up that page or are they self made widgets on a portal like page?
The colour schemes on the acutal forum differs alot from the home page which maybe is a downfall as people will wonder why the sudden change, BUT the contrast is powerful so it might be a 'shock tactic' as i see by your stats.
To be honest i really like it, good luck with making it global.. or global-ish.

You might well do, i'll make sure to throw myself a little party.
Anyway it's not too different from the homepage, the template and layout fit in well it's just the colours that were quite drastic, but the more you look at it, the better it seems.
