Does anybody here use the Icq as a comunication mode on the computer

It's been 20 years plus since I've been on ICQ. It used to be great fun but now we have Discord and other platforms where much more can happen.
 
I had this when it came out just after windows 95 was released, I'm sure they shut this down many years ago, but I guess they have started it back up.

I'm surprised you haven't heard of it since you have a gaming username and most gamers know of Discord. It's similar to ICQ.
 
Many of the new apps want your cell number, I will not give that to just anyone.
 
I've never actually used icq before. I didn't have a computer growing up and when I finally was able to get online it was pretty much dead and everyone was using forums. I'm surprised it's even still around honestly. But I guess some people are probably surprised there's people who still love forums and prefer them over anything. 😛
 
Ya I didnt here much about the forums until a little bit ago but Ive been on the internet here and there since windows 1997 or so
 
As far as retro retro instat messengers go, all my friends were on AIM or MSN so I never bothered with ICQ.
 
ICQ was popular decades ago, before MSN Messenger and the likes. I didn't know people were still using it. With that said, I still remember my ICQ ID-number. 😛
 
Is ICQ still around? I remember being so excited to be able to see when the person I was speaking with was actively typing.
