Idea for "Site of the Day" Suggestions and Feedback Please!

I plan on adding a Site of the Day section on Business Advice Forum. The purpose would be to give exposure to members' sites and sites that help us (e.g. by linking to us), by posting a new thread about a site everyday.

What do you think of the idea?

Have you any suggestions for improving it?

Maybe a link on the index too, near your member of the month.

Also every day is a little often, would you have that many applicable sites or find time to update the site every day?

Perhaps every week

Perhaps have a customized box at the top of your site with an image and detail about the site and possibly in a category header a small banner ad for their forum. Perhaps a badge to say that they competed in it and at the end of the month everyone who one day by day battle each another to make the Ultimate Site of the Month at the end of the month.

Thanks for the suggestions, I do like the idea of giving the site of the day some exposure on the forum home page and will look at options for doing that.

Great idea but what about the day when your just too busy to get on your computer?

Always Hope I actually intend to make it clear that it won't happen every day. It will be a site of the day that happens most days. Another option is that I might ask a staff member to do it when I'm not available.

I also don't plan on adding sites on the weekends, it will be a Monday to Friday thing.

Thanks for the feedback & suggestions everyone. We've added a Site of the Day section and members can now submit their sites.

The first "Site of the Day" will be announced on Monday.
