Ideas for a forum

Hello Forum Promotion users.
I'm thinking of entering a up-coming competition but I'm not sure what I should base it on.

Most of you might say, you shouldn't create a forum for the sake of it but I really want to make one however I'm stuck for ideas so I need your help.

They must be unique. 😉

By the way, it isn't a new competition.
It is another series.
 
I'm confused as to what you actually want, but if you want ideas on what subject you want your forum to be... make it about something you enjoy like a hobby or something.
 
No. It depends what features you have to entertain your forum users. I have a chat & arcade and I'm hoping to install more mods. :evil:
 
It's whatever interests you and the majority of people. For example, try not to base your forum on a topic that most people don't know about or find uninteresting. Base it on something that is more commonly known.
 
I agree with the people that have said General. Not only can you have chit-chat forums but you can have any type of forum you want on the board. 🙂

If you mean actually making the whole forum then no because it is for a competition.

I have to do all the work on my own.
 
You are going about it the whole wrong way:

Start with a concept, then choose what kind of site you want to express your concept.

Here would be an example:

1. I love fantasy books.
2. I love writing fantasy books.
3. I guess I now want to start a site about fantasy books and writing.
4. I also want other people to post their own fantasy books, and discuss published works... So a forum is the thing for me.


That's how you should think it true.
 
a movie or a book is a good idea. ex: final fantasy
also characters from books are good. ex:deadpool
or you could do a celebrity forum where everyone tries to become one on the forums. :shrug:

I meant that I'll give you an idea 😛

The originals are hard to make.
 
make your forum about your hobbies on what you do best, for example if your really good at games and know lots about them then make a forum of that..
 
Only you can tell yourself what kind of Forum to make.
What is interesting to you to most or what do you like to do in your spare time?
