Before starting Foundation, I had started working on an idea for a Once Upon A Time fan forum called Once Believers. Part of me wants to keep going with it, especially with season 5 coming up. I can see it taking off, since there's quite a big community of fans for the series.
I'd like to have discussion of the various seasons of course, but also incorporate a roleplay somehow and I've got a decent plot set up for it.
Does anyone have any ideas or thoughts on the concept? Would you be interested in a Once forum?
I personally would not use it as I am not familiar with the topic. I'm sure many others would use the forum though! You should definitely make sure to include episode summaries, threads with sneak peaks and trailers, etc to try to grab free views for people searching for that information on search engines! SEO all the way!
I think Roleplay might be something you should hold off on. Start the forum as a general discussion site for the show, maybe encourage some fan fiction before trying to bring in full on roleplay sections. 🙂 Hope this helps!
I'm so silly. I looked it up. I totally watched this many months ago. It wasn't my favorite show, but it was good. You should totally make something.
I still stand by my point about starting with fan fiction before RP, but that's just my preference.
I think it has good potential. The setting is very suitable for roleplays, but I agree that it shouldn't start until there are enough people to participate regularly. I don't follow the series devoutly, though, so despite the fact that I think that some people will be interested in it, I don't think I'll join on a Once forum anytime soon.
