Ideas for my site, RSPS toplist

Now, I ask you, what would be attractive features for both visitors (those looking for servers) and server owners who add their server to my site? I want to make a great experience for both sides; maybe more analytical tools for server owners?

Any idea helps. And unique features for my site can definitely help it get started. 🙂

If i was you id add gold member where people can purchase something to put there server at the top of the list for like $10 or more if it gets popular.

Partners - If a site stays 1st 2 months in a row they get partner so they have a bold username or something.

Have a forum where people discuss servers, good item setups or whatever it may be, btw i really don't like the hashtags i know it maybe good for your SEO but its really ugly to look at.

You could also add banner creating services and pay them whatever on here or real money so if a server owner doesn't have a banner to add he/she could pay you money to have one created. Of course this wouldn't be until it got popular. 🙂

Yes, a premium/sponsored feature is implemented. I'll just have to wait for the site to grow in popularity before I can think about introducing such a feature. 🙂

And regarding the tags, is it the idea or design you don't like? I thought the tags would be a nice feature. Say there is a new trend in RSPS, people can include that tag. Users can then search with that tag or a group of tags, and find all servers that have that feature (because they have the tag).

Exactly. I'll have to wait until the site grows in popularity. And I'm not sure if I'll even introduce banners. It seems like they would make too much of a cluster; I'm not sure. We'll see.

It does indeed make a difference. Friendly URLs help Google determine what the content's all about. Now obviously Google's capable of finding that out through other means, but friendly URLs makes the process easier and increases the likelihood. Also, it's a well established fact that key words in the address play a huge role in ranking.
