Could anyone give me ideas and help on getting my forums ready, look/content etc?

mrpp you have two forums in your signature. Is your question a general question or are you asking it in relation to a particular forum?

Try to go for something unique, something that separates you from the competition. Also, get some better themes, both forums have pretty gross themes in my opinion.

For the Valleythames forum, I think the last forum "DIY" sounds unprofessional. In my opinion, it should not be an acronym, but the whole word "Do it yourself" instead.
